Like most women of my generation I’ve been told for years that rabbit vibrators are awesome. While I’ve dipped my toes into the stream of dual-stimulation vibrators I was holding out on a getting a legitimate rabbit until I found a high-quality one made with body safe materials. This is why when I first saw the Lovehoney Happy Rabbit I became a bit fixated and when Lovehoney offered me one to review I became a bit elated!

So, what’s the deal with this toy? It’s a rechargeable silicone, dual-stimulation vibration that boasts 3 motors.

How does it work? Before anything can happen you have to charge it for 6 hours. As for the controls, it’s really not hard but I’m not going to lie, I got confused. I had to break out the instructions more than once. The large button is for the shaft, it takes it through 3 speeds and 2 vibration patterns. The small button is for the bunny.

How does it feel? The silicone is matte and smooth- which I always love and which I always advise some water-based or hybrid lube with as it can produce some drag. Bothe the shaft and the bunny have some flex and give but nothing about this toy is squishy. The Happy Rabbit is substantial.

No, seriously, how does it feel? It has been well established that I 1. am not great friends with my g-spot and 2. need vibrations of jack-hammer strength. Let me tell you. I spent most of my time with the Happy Rabbit feeling like I was hovering on the bring of an orgasm the likes of which I have never felt- I just needed a little more power to push me over… and this was where it me and the Rabbit didn’t work out. If there was just one more speed I think I’d be here telling you about a toy that changed my sex life. Now, I am still telling you about a toy I really, really like and that for most folks who don’t have my need for teeth -rattling will probably produce some fireworks but for me we came up just a tiny (teeny tiny!) bit short. I really do like this toy and can still recommend it.

Things I’m down with:

• Yay rechargeable!
• I love the base on this thing! I love that it stands up on its own. It’s almost weird how much I love that.
• I like the rabbit. When I first saw the bunny’s long ears I thought they would be poke-y or would just wiggle against the body but no way! They are a lovely length and strength.
• It is surprisingly quiet.
• On a silly note, I always want to call it the “Hoppy Bunny” instead of the “Happy Rabbit” and what about that isn’t fun?!

Things that make me go grr:

• I really just need there to be one more speed in the shaft- just a little more power!! Just a little! So close!
• I keep forgetting it’s not waterproof- be careful when cleaning it.
