I’ve had a bunch of milestones to celebrate lately. Last night was the one-year anniversary of Sex Geekdom Portland, the recent launch of the Portland Academy of Sex Education was amazing and now it’s time to celebrate two whole years of the Redhead Bedhead. That’s right, two years ago on July 3rd  I got the idea for this site during a personal training session (fun fact: I used to work as a personal trainer) and two years ago  I scrapped my 4th of July plans (it was rainy in Boston anyway) and stayed home, made popcorn and built a website.

I can hardly believe two years have passed- and this last one was a doozy! So much awesome stuff happened and  so many wonderful people entered my life (who I really can’t believe weren’t here just a year ago!). I didn’t want to get blubbery in today’s post so instead I have put together a set of pictures that showcases a bunch of the great stuff that has happened over the last year and a bunch of the great people (and dogs) who have been with me through it. I have to point out that there are no pictures here of two folks who are very dear to me so I’m just going to stop and say Epiphora and Queeraschino Cherry, I love you both and thank you so much for all the things. I’m not tearing up, you’re tearing up… shut up.

Thank you all for reading, sharing and supporting my work. Thank you for working with me, laughing with me and learning with me. Thank you for teaching me, helping me and mentoring me. And finally, in this year’s biggest turn of events, thank you for letting me teach you, it is a privilege and an honor.
