To be honest, I don’t really believe in aphrodisiacs. I think the idea that a substance would get you all ready for sex to be, at best, problematic. That said, I do love sensuality, luxury, and pretty much anything that can be used in the bath and that’s how I came to review Wildfire’s All Over Pleasure Oils. Wildfire is a lovely Australian company (don’t panic, as Wildfire says themselves: “Made in Australia, ships from the USA” ) and they make a whole array of essential oils and products called things like “Mood Mist“, “Arousal Oil“, and “Body Fusions” (those are body butters). Basically they are purveyors of sexy, sensual body care made with couples in mind.
The All My Love All Over Pleasure Oils Gift PackSo, what is and All Over Pleasure Oil? Quick answer, it’s product containing herbs that are said to serve as aphrodisiacs infused into an extra-virgin olive oil base. According to Wildfire, their oils can be used as lubricant, massage oil, moisturizer, or bath oil. If you want more info, Wildfire has a great “All You Need To Know About All Over Pleasure Oils” page. There are three different versions available: Original, Black, and Enhance Her. I received the All My Love All Over Pleasure Oils Gift Pack, which means I got to test all of them!

Original
Described by Wildfire thusly, “The original sensual pleasure oil that took the planet by storm is still raging in bedrooms across the globe”, This one was my favorite, especially as a massage oil/moisturizer. I found the scent unobtrusive with just a hit of summer at the beach, also I liked how this one absorbed into my skin. It left me feeling smooth and silky.
What’s in it: Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Ylang Ylang, Muira Puama, Horny Goat Weed, Damiana, Tribulus, Rose Geranium essential oil, Lavender essential oil, Sandalwood essential oil, Vitamin E
Enhance Her
I don’t love the gendered name but I get what they were going for with it. Enhance Her is suggested as a good choice for women coping with, to put it in a ver “JoEllen” way, the sexual side effects of aging. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one! The scent is subtly floral and I actually got really into using it as a bath oil.
What’s in it: Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Chaste Tree Berry, Wild Yam, Vitamin E, Horny Goat Weed, Marigold, Black Cohosh, Tribulus, Ginkgo Biloba, Bergamot essential oil, Patchouli essential oil, Ylang Ylang essential oil, Sandalwood essential oil, and Rose Geranium essential oil.
Black
Wildfire refers to this one as “a double strength formula…created for those that want even more intensity” and that may actually be why I didn’t like this one. For me it was just too much. Too much scent (one of the essential oils- I’m not sure which- was a scent I recognize as one many people find relaxing but I think smells like diapers), too much moisture (or something, this one seemed to sit on top of my skin for a long time)… I just found it overwhelming. However, if you’re a “go big or go home” type, this might be the one for you.
What’s in it: Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Maca, Suma – Brazilian Ginseng, Muira Puama, Ginkgo Biloba, Horny Goat Weed, Damiana, Indian Ginseng, Vitamin E, Cnidium, Chinese Wolfberry, Rhodiola Rosea, American Ginseng, Ylang Ylang essential oils, Bergamot essential oil, Patchouli essential oil, Rosewood essential oil, and Sweet Orange essential oil.
So, what do I think of All Over Pleasure Oils?
I think these oils are lovely, they feel great, they look great (nice glass bottles with convenient pump tops), and they smell… great depending on one’s scent preferences. If you are not into scents, this is not the product for you. If you like scents, go for it!
Will they turn you on?
The big question- aphrodisiacs, yay or nay? Honestly, I think it depends on what turns you on. Frankly I think the concept of a multi-use sensual/sexual product plus having a partner massage it into your body is more likely to cause arousal than essential oils but I guess if it turns you on, whatever the reason, it’s a win.
