Well, I’ve been getting so much great feedback and support from you all in response to the Superhero Sex Shop Tour fundraiser- thank you! The one question I keep getting is “what can I do to help?” Well, I decided to come up with a fun answer to that question so, in as simple terms as possible here it is:
Who: You.
What: Tell us about your first visit to a sex shop.
When: Any time between now and August 31st. (But you know you want to have fun with me ASAP!)
You couldn’t ask for a better first sex shop than Northampton’s Oh My!
Why: To support the Superhero Sex Shop Tour Indiegogo campaign. As such, I ask that each post contain a link to the campaign.
Where: Preferably on your own blog, website or Tumblr so I can post the link to it here and show people how cool my friends (ie you) are. If you don’t have a site you can post your story here– either way I’ll promote the heck out of each and every one I get (isn’t promoting each other fun?!)
In talking to folks on the first leg of the Superhero Sex Shop Tour I found that the “my first sex shop” experience runs the gamut between “life-changingly awesome” and “humiliating terrifying” hitting most points in between. Where did your experience land? Here are some questions to get you started, feel free to use them (or not)

One of the aims of the Superhero Sex Shop Tour is normalizing the sex shop experience. Right now it seems the humiliating experiences by and large outnumber the life-changing ones leaving the “sleazy sex shop” image to cloud most people’s’ view of the industry. It is my goal, in touring the Superhero Sex Shops, to educate consumers as to just how good sex shopping can be and to show retailers what the new standard in adult retail must become. By supporting the Superhero Sex Shop Tour you can help me take this important step in the process of creating higher quality, life-changing, adult retail- making more shops Superhero Sex Shops!
