Hey folks, did you know that I, along with Epiphora, teach a class called The Business of Blogging About Sex that teaches aspiring bloggers the skills they need to succeed online? And did you further know that our next group class is happening this September? Okay, both of those things are totally true and now that we’re all on the same page I have some BIG news. Seriously, I couldn’t be more excited about this. Are you ready? Okay, here goes, check it out!
Oh my goodness, what is the Amplified Voices Sex Blogger Scholarship? Well, for as long as Epiphora and I have offered our class The Business of Blogging About Sex, it has been our dream to make our class accessible by offering scholarships and we’re finally getting to do it! Thanks to the help of some amazing sponsors, this year we are offering not one, not two, but six (6), I’ll say it again because it’s that exciting, SIX scholarships to our fall 2017 group class, to be held online from September 1st through October 20th.
Our aim with this scholarship is to amplify the voices of people who have, in the past, been under-represented in sex blogging. We want to combat the notion that sex blogging is only accessible to white, affluent, able-bodied cis people. The scholarship is open to all, but priority will be given to candidates with financial need as well as intersecting and marginalized identities (e.g. people of color, disabled folks, and gender and sexual minorities).

Early to Bed: An indie sex shop in Chicago run by one of the sweetest (and most hilarious) people we know. Early to Bed was one of the very first shops to earn a spot on my Superhero Sex Shop list.
Fuze: Known for sleek, stylized toys — some with innovative, curved bases for more comfortable harness use — Fuze is well-known by lovers of high-quality toys.
