Sex & Depression Interviews Winter 2017
These online interviews are being conducted as research for JoEllen Notte’s upcoming book on sex and depression Participation requires you to type answers to a series of questions regarding your experiences with depression, treatment, and relationships, as well as the effects of gender, race, and sexual orientation on those experiences. ALL QUESTIONS ARE OPTIONAL. All responses are anonymous. By participating in this interview you are giving your permission for your responses to be anonymously included in Ms. Notte’s book.
NOTE: This is the same online interview that was published in Spring 2016. In the interest of bringing more voices to the project, this round of interviews is open exclusively to people of color.

About the Sex & Depression project:
After noticing how strongly her readers responded to her writing about sex and depression, JoEllen decided to learn more. In 2014, under the supervision of Stephen Biggs, RP, JoEllen released the first survey on the topic which received 1,100 responses. Over the next 2 years JoEllen proceeded to interview over 200 people on the topic and began writing her book The Monster Under The Bed. JoEllen Notte and Stephen Biggs, RP have presented JoEllen’s data and facilitated lively discussions about sex and depression at Woodhull’s Sexual Freedom Summit and the Playground Conference.
